We use a slight concave profile that is weight optimized with backside milling and a thicker flange to handle abuse and remain rigid. In other words, we try to find the ideal strength-to-weight ratio with digital FEA testing while ensuring high structural rigidity.
Additionally, the wheel has been further lightened with titanium hardware sealed with lock-tight that saves about 1lb. per wheel compared to standard 12pt. ARP hardware. The lock-tight prevents any assembly hardware from backing off under harsh driving.
