A friend pointed me in the direction of this thread and I would like to attend the event. I have a not so perfect 993 C4S. I'll be there at 8 sharp.

I'm going to try to make it. I'm new to NY. Moved up from Houston in August. Dang, this is going to be our first borderline real winter weather of the year. We'll see if the lure of being introduced to the Porsche community up here out-weighs temps in the 30's? In Houston, they'd be broadcasting weather advisory warnings!

On the flip side, this could be the last weekend to get the car on the road until spring.

AC, I've threatened to meet up with you once I got a car up here. I now have your older, smaller brother up here (997.1rs frog). I'm 75/25 going. If we mix in some precip and/or crazy wind, I'm out.

And, yes, summer tires in the 30s are like ice skates.

You guys are too much! These cars won't melt. Tires are OK in cold weather, just brake hard a few times to put temp in them. I'm in. If the weather is dry I'll bring the 997. Just had it cleaned up. If it isn't then the 993 sled is coming out:

See you then, looking forward to meeting new Porsche owners!
