You guys are studs. And I really appreciate everything. I used to sell cars so quickly that I never did much tire changing. And the only two cars I intended to keep forever had centerlocks....and they weren't 911s. I think Mooty knows exactly what cars I'm referencing LOL! J feel free to mention them. I feel like a guy that's lost all my cred. I was active on this board when it started. Same with 6Speed and FChat. I don't know why I mention this but I'm a bit embarrassed asking about a wrench. But thanks again for making me feel like home. You guys are great! Kind Regards Josh

Oh, you opened a can of worms!!!!!

Many would say it doesn't matter. Others would say Snap On

Goto to Zoro - get a 20% discount code. SK or Proto are great tools at a fair price with great customer service if something should happen.

Or buy Snap On from Craigslist/'bay.

oh, the antique F40 and outdated CGT? meh.... GT3 is where it is at.
u me brian curren should get together for coffee sometimes, he lives near me. so we will make you come out to peninsula.

if you want sockets that protect wheels, griots has a set wrapped in neoprene type of thing.

impact gun i swear by snap on.

LOL!! Now that's what I'm talking about. Who would pay an extra $27K for a Grand Prix White CGT? And the F40 is a glorified kit car

We do need to get together. It's been waaaaay too long. But we all know I'm a City dweller and I rarely make it down to the Peninsula. Awesome stuff. Thanks again to all. I took a bunch of time off the board and it's great to be back! JBO aka gt2-josh

bosch makes snap on impact gun as private label. snap on x 3 bosch price.
very well documented in "power tool" forums.

Wonder what core materials came from which country for Snap On. If Trump uses Chinese steel for his buildings it must be good rt? Mike

U could also get a torque stick for the impact gun that is slightly less than what your final torque will be, that way you insure you never over tighten with the gun.

And then use your torque wrench to tighten to the final torque number.

Thanks to everyone! I think I've got the wrench solved. However now I'm stumped about the lug nuts themselves. Please see my post. I promise this is the last one but I really need the groups help. Thanks in advance. JBO
