I have 18" HoHos for track so I need OEM size street only tires and I need them soon as fronts corded inside edge.

Michelin Pilot Super Sport 305 rears are on intergalactic back order. That seems to be the obvious most popular recommendation for street but doesn't do much good if you can't get them.

Was thinking about the Yokohama AD08R but rear availability also an issue. Not sure that I love the "tuner" look of the tread pattern but this concern is secondary to performance (grip, wear, etc.)

Hankook RS3 - maybe can get a set. Never thought I would be considering this "off brand" Korean tire for a GT3RS but if it is a good tire it is a good tire.

Bridgestone Potenza S04 Pole Position - Good tire or 2nd tier to the above?

Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 - Heavy? Good?

Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 - Too much for the street I think. Double whammy on cost as up front is nearly $2K for a set and wear is short.

Pirelli Trofeo R? $$$

When the new PS4 comes out in the spring that will be the ticket. Not sure best option in the interim. I'm strategically wearing my PSS so I can put some PS4's on new wheels come spring time

I really liked the RE11 on my M3 for what it's worth.

if you cant get MPSS, and you dont want to go with MPSC2 what about Dunlop Sport Maxx...

I'd go with Corsas for the street over Trofeo's ... better wear and wet handling.

i might sell my set pf mpss w/ 5k miles and a street alingment.
I have a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 that everyone rev's about how sticky they're but yet to try. They're stored however i have urge to use them soon.

I've heard great things about the new Bridgestone RE-71R, although I haven't tried them myself. Tire Rack shows 245/35/19 and 305/30/19 in stock. They don't appear to stock 235/35/19.

I've used Yoko AD08R in the past. It's a great tire in terms of performance, except they get very noisy as they wear, almost to the point of becoming unbearable on the street.

I put Bridgestone S04 on my 997.2 GTS. Only gets street use and seems to perform well. They may have been a little slick for the first 500 miles or so.

i've used RE71Rs extensively on my F80 M3 and on my track E36.

They are near slick performance, but with good predictable progressivity near the limits of grip. I'm only about 2-3seconds off the pace of my slicked counterparts with this tire.

on the street, they are definitely noisier than the MPSS. and small rocks definitely "stick" to them more readily. In the wet, that perform admirably for a tire with such stellar dry grip. using MPSS as the benchmark, they are just one tick below.

they also wear about 10-20% faster than the MPSS.

I will continue using them for the track. if MPSS becomes short supply, or if i come across a sale of them, i have no issues running them as my daily street tire.

RE71 for spirited driving. S04 are good for normal street driving, rain etc.

So I am considering one other thing....I have an aggressive street or tame track alignment. It would be helpful for longevity to be able to flip the tires on the rim to even out inside shoulder wear. The PSS don't allow this but some of these other options do.

what about RE-11, they are available at: F 245/35R19 & R 325/30R19, vs the RE-71R largest size for the rear 295/30R19!!!

Why not just a simple set of Continental ExtremeContact DW? They come in 245/40/18 and 295/35/18. Seeing as it's not a dual duty tire thanks to your Hoosiers.

Public service announcement...305/30-19 rear Super Sports were available through my local Porsche dealer even when all major retailers (local and online) could not get them. The guy mentioned that they came from Dealer Tire which I'm not sure is a Porsche specific thing or just a vendor that sells to dealerships only.

I've used AD08Rs and RS-3 with good success.
Haven't yet tried RE-71s but will soon.
Have Re-11s on the 360, but they are old design and heavier than the 3 above.

Can't go wrong with any of the 3 I've bolded.

caveat, I live in So Cal, so dry weather only.
