Swapping LWB seats for powered seats - plug and play?
I've got a friend thinking of swapping out LWB seats out of his 997 C4S in exchange for powered seats of the more normal street variety. A few questions:
1) Would the C4S have the harness in place for an easy plug and play?
2) Would this work only with non-memory seats or would memory seats also work (though without the memory function of course as the buttons are not in place)
3) Any other watchouts?
If he does this he will be looking for donor seats in black, strong preference for sport adaptive seats. I bet there are a few interested in swapping ....

Ive gone the other way, I think the question is, "is the wiring harness std", I *believe* it is, so it *should* work, I think *even* with *** memory (although that would need to be configured I believe by a dealer using PIWIS).
I must emphasize that am I not 100% certain about the harness universality

I have somewhat of an experience in this having swapped a full power/heat/memory comfort seats w manual sport seats off an RS in my 997 Turbo. And the answer is yes, plug'n'play, but you may lose some functionality since you're going from non-fancy to fancy.
Part of the large connector on the driver side has to be taken apart because only a portion of that connector works with the non-power/non-memory seat. But there were no wiring modifications whatsoever. I did get an airbag error light after the procedure even though I had disconnected the battery prior to install. PIWIS cleared it.

from what I understand - completely plug and play - everything is there
