Is there nay ambient lighting in the 997 GT3? I noticed the small LED below the rearview mirror and I know the other models have it in the door pulls as well. No light emits from the the LED under the rearview mirror. I have checked all settings in the PCM. Just wondering, thanks.

I have never noticed any cabin lighting in a 997gt, however I never tried to turn any on. I know my 997turbo had footwell lights, map lighting, vanity and door sill lights.

Mine has Map lights (switched)
Cabin light (Off/door open/On)
a red and white light in each door that go one when opened and stay on for 5 - 10 secs after door closed

I think the light below the mirror is the indicator for auto dimming sensor being on

I know about the light for auto dimming, but there is an LED below the mirror toward the windshield. In my last 997 non GT this light would illuminate the shifter and the door pulls would be lit up too.
