Changed my oil yesterday-it feels a bit like a waste since it was less than 5000 miles, but we're told to change in a year interval regardless of mileage-

This time I used the Mahle filter instead of Mann-it's a tight fit because the inner diameter is smaller, probably meant to be inserted spreading the inner part for a tighter fit-
Kitty litter plastic pan is the perfect solution, fits under the car without jacking it, and handles the 9.5 quarts perfectly

I'm stoked because my local Winchester Auto has the 5w-50 in stock all the time. Pricing seems to be pretty low, ~$8-9 a quart (I can't remember exactly) I'm going to give it a shot on my next oil change, mainly due to all the good things I've heard about it. Thanks LexVan!

A little extra viscosity, (especially in my relatively warm climate) seems like a good idea.

Anytime.

And it's more about the Mobil 5W50 staying in spec, and not shearing down. It's excellent at that.

You guys recommend 5W50 for standard 07S? I've been using 0-40. Thanks
