Yes in the 1cw config you need a serious pair in the Esses. Mine haven't dropped yet.

Yes 1 is star Mazda on far side of track
13 is sweeper and most common config.
Don't run the a configs :-)

Fwiw PCA sdr said they were going to run 13 that weekend. Now it's possible the club race runs 1. http://www.pcasdr.org/event/buttonwi...lub-race-cw-2/

Either is fine by me. Martin will whine so we should run 1 just to experience that.

^ first time running the "A" I almost drove into the cones!! I had no idea what was happening for the first few laps. It's just not natural...lol.

Can we run 13CW in the mornings and then 1CW after lunch? I'm just not a fan of 1CW...Sweeper > Star Mazda.

Def won't be changing setups during the day - many people are coming with coaches and so messing with track layout isn't a variable to introduce more details as we get closer

I think I have two or three slots (if one guys check doesn't show) available

I'll reach out to the SDR track chair and confirm CW13 and if he knows CR will run the same config.
Last year they ran CW1 and stated this year they'd change to 13.

Where I come from, track reconfiguration is pretty non-existent (though Autobahn has N/S course).

What have I been missing......

Car?

Pretty easy. A fresh set of nt01 will last the 2 open days no problem.
Auto club, chuckwalla, willow springs, and streets are all harder on tires.
