Had a great time the last two days. We definitely need more events like this.

jpgunn: that 46 lap looks so effortless. Wow.

Thanks everyone for coming and being great out there

No wrecks / no hits / no drama - perfect

Except the first 30 minutes of the the first day I had smooth empty track to enjoy as I think others did as well which is awesome

Heard lots of folks hitting personal bests / track records etc

Will do it again in the new year as I prep for Sebring

Matt

That was a fun little session on greasy tires. The video is good, I will have to figure out how to post it up...
And a big thanks to Matt and everyone who drove well and respectfully for two days.

Thanks Matt for setting up a great couple of days. The weather cooperated as well did all the drivers.

JP, that ACR lap was effortless, and the time is even more impressive. Are you able to get a couple of days out of a set of tires?

I got 3 days from last set of R7s. I drove them to Chuckwalla and back and then used them up on Monday, with fresh tires going on Tuesday.

Since Chuckwalla I improved the front end alignment, which should give me even better life from this set, so I am hoping for 4 days this time.

i'll pm you my email so you can send the link. Yes i noticed that you were not able to put the power down on some of the slower turns. I had a turbo and miss it greatly and understand how greasy tires can get with a lot of power.

You're telling me! It was painful last night.

Excellent outing and top five for a private event. I have some notes and data for the next go.... Highlight was a three wide going into last turn.

Thanks for setting this up. Even though was battling a cough, it was great to get out in the RS on the track....it's been about 2 years since I've driven an RS on the track so there was some getting used to. Definitely keep us posted on the next private track days that you want to do and I'll be there.

i will add my thanks and kudos to matt for bringing the energy and organization to make this happen

great conditions, great track, great people, great atmosphere, great driving, and most importantly, great fun

it's funny, making the long trek down i-5 from the bay area, i asked myself, is this worth the time and effort? ... after the first hot laps on track with all the buds who were there and a giant grin on my face... well the answer was self evident

thx again matt ... look forward to the next one
