Default .2RS Clutch start switch

Is there an issue w/ the .2RS clutch start switch? I see a lot of clutch start switch being replaced on these cars (at least from reviewing car fax reports).

Thanks.

Common 997 problem. It's sort of like the DME relay that goes bad on the air-cooled cars.

I've never had an issue with it on the 3 997s that I've owned so far but carry a spare in the car. You can also remove it and attach a jumper wire to the female connectors. Won't have to worry about it ever again.

Thanks for clarifying that ilko! Sounds like a non issue & an easy fix.
