Default .2 RS Wing

Will the .2 GT3RS Wing fit my .2 GT3? The owner before me exchanged the OEM wing for a cup wing. I prefer the look of the OEM RS.

If so, where can I buy one?

Not sure if the deck is OEM.

Fallback will be OEM GT3 and go back to original.

It might not accept the factory uprights, as far as the oem blade fitting I think Tye has an oem blade attached to a cup decklid and uprights. I'll text him to get on here and chime in.

Here are a couple pics of stock rs with boron uprights, fitment is identical just a tad taller.

You'll also need a 997-2 RS air box with the dual air intake.

If your decklid has the oem cup uprights you will need to modify them to fit the oem RS wing onto it. I have 997.2 Cup decklid and modified uprights and oem RS wing. PM me your email and I can tell you exactly what needs to be done. Also let me know if you want to sell your cup wing blade.

Looked at your pics closer. Your decklid is not OEM but the uprights look to be so yes you can modify them to fit the OEM RS rear wing blade.

I'm also running the cup wing end plates (also modified) to make the most out of the RS wing blade

Ok, so it's your car that has me inspired. This is it...front fender extensions and all. I'm taking the graphics off too. So you say I can fit an OEM RS wing blade on my current OEM cup uprights? Where can I buy an RS wing blade? I also like your decklid. What is that?

Yes, my cup wing blade will be for sell and I'm sure we can work something out.

My car actually is a 2007 GT3

Exterior wise this is what's done

Exterior:
2012 PMNA GT3 Cup car bumpers
2012 PMNA GT3 Cup car fenders and flares
2012 PMNA GT3 Cup front "flap"
2012 PMNA GT3 Cup deck lid
2010 OEM RS rear wing
2012 PMNA GT3 Cup Wing Uprights
2012 PMNA GT3 Cup Wing Endplates
2012 PMNA GT3 Cup Mirrors
OEM LED tail lights
PMNA Cup tow hooks
PMNA GTC Bumper Brake Ducts
PMNA GT3 Cup Fender liners
PMNA Decklid Pins
Capital City Air Exit Screens (in front of front tire)
Orbit Racing Carbon Fiber Dive Planes
Orbit Racing Carbon Fiber Gurney Flap

Yes the wing can be made to fit but it requires some cutting of the upright. You will cut the upper portion of the upright to match the factory angle of attack if the RS wing. (Using the front upper portion as a starting point, you will cut across in a slight incline following the wing angle)

You can see the cut here

How did you install the decklid pins?

You have to drill a hole on each side of the body area to mount the pins. a nut underneath the pin secures it to the body.

take a look at my build thread as there are close-up pics there.

The key is marking the correct position for the pin using the decklid holes.
