For public road use even for very spirited driving what I am learning here and speaking with other owners is the GT3 is very robust 911 and like another RL stated the coolent pipes issue seems to be the one non wear and tear related item that could go on the earlier GT3s.

I benefitted paying about $3k for a warranty for a 5 series BMW with 38k miles some years ago and the warranty paid for water pump, alternator, and numerous replacement blinker and taillights, and it covered towing back to VOB BMW in Rockville , MD for all the repairs, in addition it put me in rental cars at the dealer with no added hassle to me.

Good luck with decision.

fidelity won't cover things like lsd, clutch, brakes, or any other wear items which are the biggest consumers on a GT3. Save the coolant lines as discussed above I don't know if it's worth it. You can do the coolant lines for 3K or less.

They will for a price. Platinum coverage. Not sure if GT3 is excluded. I just roll the dice on the GT3.
