What exhauat is this?
Can somebody identity this exhaust system? Appears to be FVD? My .2 GT3 is in need of a new system and I happen to have this system in my garage. Came with the car.
Not sure if I should install this or just get e new track exhaust from SW.

the headers look OEM to me, they don't have the same bends as the FVD system pictured above. almost looks like you'd be running the OEM cat plus the FVD cat behind it. to know for sure spot where the bungs/ports are for the 02 sensors, should be 2 per side. the stock headers should have a 997..... part number stamped on the header.
i'm almost certain you can take the rear section of what you have there and it'll bolt onto your stock GT3 mufflers which would be very similar to the SW track system.
No doubt it will be LOUD!

I don't think FVD makes pieces that bolt up to stock headers (correct me if i'm wrong).

Headers as mentioned are OEM or Cup, check part numbers to be sure they look identical with cats.
That exhaust looks like a kick *** LOUD one :-)

My headers on the car are not OEM and catless. And I'm told they are good ones.
So if I wish to keep my headers, this system probably won't match up - correct?
Next question - what will match up to catless headers if I purchase new?
My car isn't street legal and for track use only.
Thanks everyone!

^^^^ runner - it depends a lot on what system you have on the car now. if it was designed to bolt on to stock components then it could work by taking the rear half of the system pictured and bolting it onto your headers.
do you know what headers you have on the car now? if not take a picture of it especially the flange area. i have my car on jackstands now with the exhaust apart.

get the car on a ramp and plug and play.
the exhaust you have in the picture looks fine.
You can try to adapt the center cention in the picture to you existing headers/cats.

Looking closer at the system pictured on the ground, it is cracked. The reason for retiring it originally I guess.
So I checked it into a shop. I learned that my headers are keepers and to work around them. They are catless. The shop is going to built a custom fit with no restrictions. It's going to be loud.
