Default PASM Question

If my car has PASM can I still change the springs and lower it? What effect will this have on the suspension?

Yes and yes. If you are looking for more firmness from changing springs, then the front springs can be changed pretty easily because it is already a linear rate spring. The rear springs, however, will require a different top mount kit. TPC Racing makes a top mount kit specifically for this purpose. But if you just want to lower the car, you can do that by just turning down the collars on PASM GT3 shocks. Don't lower it too much because it will mess up the geometry, and possibly cause bottoming out. Regardless of how much you lower it, it will require a four-wheel alignment. It is most ideal to consult with a race shop that's familiar with the GT3.

If you want to change springs to make the car handle better, reduce body roll, dive and squat then you should consider a product called DSC. DSC is a plug-and-play box to replace PASM box. In many cases, DSC makes changing springs obsolete.
