My new (to me) 997.1 GT3
Hi,
I was in the market for long time and finally was able to find what i was looking for!
997.1 gt3 from the first owner (well he bought it with 247 miles in clock) , all the documents from the day he bought it, 17k miles, 0 over revs, no track time.
The paint is not all original due some small parking lot scratches, but doesnt bother me as they were also documented with pictures and is unnoticeable! I bought this to enjoy it and as long as its techically perfect..... I dont a care a s***t!! (price was good too..!)
I didnt really care about options but this one came with:
- Adaptive sport seats with porsche logo in headrest
- Bi-xenon
- Sound package plus
- Chrono package
- Rims and caps in black
Future plans: Coolant pipes pinning, bucket seats, planning to wrap it maybe mexico blue.
Too bad i have to put this one to storage soon because going back to europe for summer.. But i have my old aircooled lady (993) waiting for me there so all good...
Thanks all the rennlisters for your help with finding my dream car, this car was found on rennlist.com! Thanks to BBI autosport for doing ppi for this, great guys to work with!

Welcome to the club. Great cars.
I see yours is also sans the sat Nav....I think that's the way to go, as they are pretty much obsolete with modern phones, and really date the car with their old data and lack of live traffic info.
Your car with those wheels looks great.

the oem 7.1 gt3 wheels are nicest as u have them... painted black centers with silver rim edge... really pops
i concur with advice above not to wrap it... will be tough to maintain bright blue wrap on a black car
enjoy

Thanks, it really is amazing car! Still cant believe i actually own it!
Well this black is pretty hard to keep clean, thats why i was thinkin some wrap.. especially when i dont have place to wash it. Anyone know some place in bay area where i could wash my car myself with my own products? And sharkwerks bybass coming in too, forgot to mention
r6elmo funny you said that, i just drove that route two days ago.... wow it was fun!!!

Also an alternative is the Griots spray on car wash. I've been happy with it.
