Default Bicycle rack on 997.2 GT3

How have you put a bike rack on a .2 GT3?
I don't think that they have the same mounting points that the .1s do.

Please be kind
Yes, this IS a serious question

Thank you

Craig

They don't have mounting points Craig. I think it would only be possible if there is a company that makes one of those strap-on racks for the rear deck lid/bumper that doesn't interfere with the wing. The other option is to remove the passenger seat. You can fit a bike inside the car if there is no scaffolding in the back.

Seasucker racks are an option, was introduced to them serval years back and have not heard many complaints. Negates the needed mounting points as it has a unique design that can accommodate just about anything.

No vested interest, but an option I know of that would work.

It was from awhile back, earlier in the company's history.

I had some skepticism towards them at first but after using them, and being around them a bit had a changed perspective on mounting a bike on them.

They are quite slick and very easy to use (hence part of my initial skepticism), but overall a nice solution that is far easier to work with than other systems out there.

Thanks for the feedback.
Also got a glowing review from a friend in the bike industry regarding their efficacy.
I'll buy and post up the results

Craig

They sell this one for a mere $1400.00!

No need to laugh

it was easy in 993 to remove a seat.
"modern cars" don't like to have seat removed and then the key in run or start position.

not sure if duramametric pro sw can sort that out

I had seen your 993 at C&C and thought that the seat delete mod was fantastic. You can pull a seat and code the airbag out in the 997 GT3's. Very common for race seats and such.
