^^ dude how heavy is that E36? i know you can strip one down to the 2800s or so but you don't even have real glass! I bet that car will be pretty fast in the west section....

I'm still have a lot to learn, but maybe!

I haven't weighed it -- but I'd figure around 2800. I'm heavy and there's a fair bit of tubing in car so everything else must go.

I consider this my "pre" 996cup car.

as much as i dont like bmw, e36, e46 and even e90 gutted make great track cars.

I'm hoping for 100 laps that day which means being on track for over 6.5 hours



Actually, I tried the 100 lap thing in the west section and was BEAT in the 70 lap range. That said, the west section is like a high speed autocross course, so it's a little more work than the east side.

Hardcore - I was there last Friday I ran maybe 40 laps

It was 107 and I used a full set of tires and most of a set of brakes

in my younger days i did 300 miles at TH in one day. it was a miata, easier to drive. i only swtopped for fuel.
