Advice - Red Deviated Interior Removal/Resale
Currently converting my 997.1 GT3 to a race car and am at a crossroads with the interior. Car came OEM with black leather & red deviated stitching (which looks great btw), so I'll have the center console, door panels, and seats left over to sell, but the question is do I swap out the dash pad for a generic dash so that I can offer someone all the deviated stitching components? Or is that such a small group of potential buyers that I leave it in? It pains me to saw into it (to accommodate cage) but at the same time, cheapest dash I found on eBay is about $1800. Would hate to drop $1800 only to have a dish sitting in the garage that I can't sell. At the same time, I'm concerned that no one will want the seats without the other components whenI try to sell them...thoughts?

What about offering the dash as a partial trade for someones dash whos interested in the package?
Let me know if you decide to sell center console, door panels and rear panels (red stitching?). My dad has a red 997 that has the standard pieces (no stitching) that we would be interested in swapping your stuff into.

Tye...you clearly have better eBay searching skills than I do. Best I could find was the $1800 listing. Will a .2 dash fit in a .1? It certainly looks identical.

The problem with the former is I have a very compressed timeline, so I would need to get a replacement in the next few days. Follies of last minute great ideas.
On the latter, I will definitely be selling every piece of the interior when it gets back from the shop. (Exception being the dash, obviously, depending on how that plays out.) So yeah, I'll have all those things...I think the steering wheel has the stitching as well.

997.2 dash fits in a .1. I've done a dash swap myself on my gt3 because I wanted to go from standard gray stitching to yellow deviated stitching.
