Sorry I remember seeing this thread a while back but had to reset my login that day and couldn't get it to post. I forgot about it then saw it bumped back up.
I can make the 100mm tips for 997 fitment again. I'll set aside a few from our next batch and post when they're available but it'll be several weeks because we were not making some yet.
My only reasons for not wanting to sell 100s for the 997s are:
1) I always thought the 88s look best on the 997 bumper cut-out, where the 991 has a larger cut out. But I know people had liked them in the past so I'm OK with that if you are
2) You need to be sure you leave ample space to the bumper cover above, or the black plastic will melt. Just make sure there's a good 1/2 to 1" or so and you should be fine.

88s look better although I'm sticking to stock tips for now. Might throw 88s back on it
something about those titanium tips that's just sponge worthy
I'm sorry I left folks without pics before I converted to a full Cup exhaust. IMO if you like slashed tips the limited run 100mm SW made are the best hands down. A good example are those on Tye's Silver 997.1 GT3 above. I went with 100mm rolled tips before I switched to the Cup exhaust. There are 3 vendors and yes they are all priced in excess of $1K. The three being Akrapovic, Cargraphic and FVD. I went with FVD because Rhonda is super cool and she agreed to have mine ceramic coated black. Hi Rhonda! Miss you out here I don't believe there is a right or wrong approach. It's a matter of personal taste and IMO we should accept our friends choices. Seriously what doesn't look good on a 997. I have the 88mm tips on my 997.1GT3. I like the look, but there is one thing that has always bugged me that I finally got around to addressing. It's that when you look at the tips you can see the silver finish of the back face of the SW center muffler delete pipe. So I took off my tips, cleaned the back face of the SW pipe w/ brake cleaner, sprayed it w/ flat black high-temp paint and put the tips back on. I think it looks more finished now (or will when take a black sharpie to the tip of that center bolt). So, my recommendation would be that you consider painting the back face of the SW pipe black prior to installing the tips.
^yep when installed my SW bypass, the installer, who also has a severe case of OCD, painted bypass area bracket in black. Looks way better than the shinny stuff back there

I have a set of 88s that Sharky sent me; will throw them on and see how they look but I do love the Ti tips
I have a Soul Performance center bypass with 88mmm black slash-cut tips. I wanted different and larger tips and bought a pair of Flowmaster Rolled Edge Angle Cut Polished Exhaust Tips. Specs are 3" Inlet, 4" Outlet (101.6mm) and 5.25" Length. The outlet pipes on the center bypass are 2.75" so I had a friend flare them out to fit the 3" inlets on the tips. He also burnished the surface of the tips with a steel wire wheel to give them a brushed-steel finish rather than polished.
If you like the look, the upside is that these are really inexpensive tips at about $100/pair and I think they look great. The down is that they come embossed with the Flowmaster logo on the top edge of each tip so I had them sanded off, plus they require some modification to fit. If you are willing to get your hands a little dirty or have a local muffler shop to do some work, these can be a reasonable alternative for larger tips. YMMV.
Trust me. I was on the fence too. The upgraded tips look perfect, and the originals now look too small to my eye. (Thanks to Dan at Sharkwerks for his wise counsel).
SW 88's are best for 997, 100's are for the obeast 991 (obeast-trying to put it down and give kudos at the same time)
