while I don't have nor need a cover for our GT3, when i would bring our prior '07S Porsche down to our island near Charleston, I used a cover because raccoons like to climb on cars, and their claws can certainly scratch paint, so for some of us, a car cover has to protect from varmits. I very rarely bring our GT3 down even for only a couple of days. I just don't like salty air on good cars. In fact, if we end up moving to our place here, I would rather sell our GT3 than have it subjected to salty air. I never wash any cars down here either, other than just hosing them off. There is just no way to keep from scratching with hidden sand. When I get home, I am very very careful with my washing technique. I just couldn't imagine having a black car here, and in fact, rarely see any black or very dark cars at the coast, the heat and sun being part of that reason.

IMO, buy the OEM one from RLer, or a new one from Suncoast. I just bought one and although a little pricey is perfect fit with cool Porche logo and bag, for a GT3.

I dont use mine outside so better check on usability outdoors.

FYI finally received my indoor cover from Coverking.

This thing rivals my wife's silky dress. So nice!
Thanks for all suggestions. Will be getting a separate outdoor cover if my garage isn't done by the time it leaves storage.
