Default Coolant reservoir cap problems ?

LateBraking wrote about his problems with a pissing coolant reservoir cap.
Is he the only one or is this a structural problem of the older cars ?
In that case it might indeed be wise to buy a new one as a precaution....

For sure buy the new version from Suncoast, cheap insurance. I have had no problems with the new cap.
