Tried to search, but probably used wrong key words...
My 997.2 GT3 has developed a noticeable resonance/drone starting at 4K RPM to about 5,500 RPM. With sport button engaged, same resonance but starts 500 RPM earlier. Do I have a leak somewhere in the exhaust?

BTW - anyone selling sharky center bypass please pm me. Might be the way to "fix" my issue. My way to justify a mod.

Sounds like a side muffler issue.

Mine ('07 GT3) has a 'buzz' vibration from about 2.6k to 3.0k. I think I need a SW 3.9 and a center by-pass to address this

I'd take a look at your mufflers, beginning with the center which is prone to cracking horizontally along the welding seam on the engine side.

Thanks for the responses. I'll check out the mufflers and report back. Odd that I'm not hearing anything different until 4K RPM.
