Great car, great looking build too. I particularly love the welds on the cage..it's almost a sin to cover those up with paint.

Curious why no spacers on the rear toe arms to correct for bump steer esp on a car that appears to be lower than stock height?

Maybe we are only seeing a time shot and the checking was done before?

I've watched this being done and the Pinion gear was adjusted as well and the crown wheel moved when required.

Hope for the owners sake it was checked and Ok? That's like building and engine and not checking the bearing clearances.

Good eye gentleman. Rest assured that we obsess over the details as well. This was simply a build thread and not a tutorial. We fully measure the backlash before the install. While we are setting up the new LSD, we also address an equally important portion of the process - the heel and toe patterns on both the coast and drive side of the ring gear. We should have shown a few more detailed shots of the install process, however some things stay here at BBI. With an open shop policy, we welcome anyone to come to BBI for a tour and take a more in-depth look at our processes and tools. I think it is great that Rennlist members have such a keen eye for detail and quality. As you get to know us, you will see that we share that same passion!

Nice come back.

Kind of expected something like this.

Still not understanding how you measure the backlash and measure the contact patterns with the gear housings still attached.

Trying to figure out why a dremel is used to cut up some interior trim? What piece of trim is that and why would the bar interfere with it?

Guard was backordered and OS Giken is also very good.

Underneath the carpet near the seatbelt mounts, there is a piece of plastic that needs to be trimmed. It interferes with most roll bars and harness bars that mounts at that location

I have emailed you guys about the dive planes and your team promised me more pictures... But it's been awhile and I still haven't received them. Could you pls kindly post more pics of the dive planes? Highly interested in them!
