Peter the garage looks amazing! Based on your comment above you need to build another garage just like it down south! I.e. one for summer, and one for winter.

Cheers

Visited the garage on the weekend. Truly a well planned design that will work great as a race shop.

That PAD is Sick.. I have space for 8 cars in my garage / 3 car attached to house and you can fit 5 in the aux garage.. I will never have any garage that nice.. I always have to much chaos taking place... An engine out, tractor getting worked on.. 4 wheeler, Welding spots on my kids POS to keep it on the road... I thought I was really stepping it up just adding a 40 inch LCD... I am in total ENVOY of you though... I gotta ask... Where is all the Stuff? You know.. The stuff, parts, tools, cans, hoses, ? There must be a hidden room filled to the rim with "Stuff"

Ha ha there's a 20' shipping container outside with the lawn tractor and "stuff". I made a point of having no open shelving so all is behind doors. The garbage can even has its own cabinet plus there's a tool trolley that has its own cabinet as well..
One of the reason I went with http://www.rousseaumetal.com/en/markets/automotive/ cabinets was they have hose reel cabinets. Beside the sink is a hose reel for water....to wash cars and floor. Under the work bench are 4 hose reels: air, nitrogen, high pressure nitrogen for air jacks, and a long power cord...so all the normal stuff that litters the garage is tucked away.
There is a another garage attached to the house for the daily drivers....that one's a little harder to keep clean!

spectacular, love the cabinets, but why nitrogen for air jacks? isn't dry compressed air sufficient? I have a rotary compressor with dryer.

Because they need 450 PSI !! So a nitrogen tank is the easiest. the tire machine needed a ton of CFM but only 170 PSI so the air system (with dryers) is set for that powered by a 7.5HP piston compressor. I have the high pressure nitrogen system plumbed in but haven't put a tank or a reel in yet. So far there hasn't been a need for air jacks in the garage I just use the hoist, or if I do I just run the high pressure hose from the race trailer....so jury's out whether I'll use the last reel spot for HP nitrogen or maybe draft beer instead
