I posted about this in the 996 forum but thought there might be some people in here than can give an answer.

I see many of the aftemarket cages are marketed as fitting both 997 and 996 cars. Obviously the tequipment roll bar fits both cars. Is the same true with the 997 clubsport cage?

I have a 996 GT3 and have been offered a genuine 997 cage locally but I'm sure if it fits in the 996? Some readings suggest it does, others don't. The 997 cage is more robust looking than the 996 with the extra diagonal.
