BW is very expensive for private day...
This is the one weekend in Oct I can't make it :-(
BTW, a private day is like a 2-3 day event, you drive non stop.

I make the trip with some friends a couple of times a year from LA.
You can caravan with us!!!
We are actually attending the HOD event at the end of this month.

Carl, if you can convince Jack to come out of retirement for a Jack Track day, I will certainly be there with +2.
Sorry, if I hijacked Mooty's thread. Bump to the top, as Mooty's track day is top notch, with catered food and the best croissants and baked goods you will find anywhere. Plus, more track time than any organized event.

I need a 3-day weekend to make it worthwhile to have my car/s trailered up to TH. I'm in for private BW track day on Friday or Monday that dovetails a PCA or Speed Ventures weekend.

and it was a large loss out of my OWN pocket in bw.
a test day has very very low car counts and no corner worker, no fire crew and no tow truck. in my good conscience i cannot do that. while i am not god, i do my very best to make things safe and friendly as the ppl who come to play are mostly my friends. i dont like driving on track with no corner worker, or other safety precautions.
also, too many cars no fun. too few cars no fun either. it's like golf. you need foursome. too many or too few is not golfing. or imagine majong... try playing it with 2 o 6 ppl.
if i skipped all that, sure, i will not lose money at BW last time i was there.
but last time i was there, all the socal peep that claimed will go didn't go
it's really very simple. i dont need the drivers to show up. i simply need their money to come in.
so back to topic, those who like to drive BW private days, feel free to start their won thread and get the day up and running, i wish u luck.
for those want to play at THill and have a leisurely drive up north on sunday then we can play on monday ;-)

Jack Track days were normally less than 15 drivers. And, most of the guys were analyzing their track data throughout the day so it was always less than 10 cars on track at a time. It was like belonging to a country club.
