How is the transmission in these cars? I always thought that if they had a 6 speed that they would be one of the best.. Legendary fender flares on that thing!

Transmission is AMG Speedshift 7G-Tronic. Not an automanual - upshifts are decently quick, downshifts require a bit more patience. Bulletproof like the rest of the car.

Couple more pictures to whet the appetite.

If this were a dark grey you would be sitting on a small pile of cash with about $60k and I would have been busy building another 8 car garage.

Good luck with the sale!

Not true. A Canberra-based car, black and in mint condition with 11000km, sold recently for less than AUD139k. The C63BS are still fetching upwards of AUD200k though and my 2004 CLK DTM AMG, the big daddy of all the Black Series cars, was recently sold by Duttons in Melbourne with an asking of $430k. Makes all but a 4.0RS seem cheap at the price!

I really miss mine and may be back in the market. Any mods? IMO this is one of the best and greatest AMG's ever built, and I've previously owned a lot of them. An excellent track car (from experience) and a true future collectible with one year production and only 358 cars in the USA. However, it's not a DD.

Thanks 4ocious! Other than upgraded brake pads, the car is completely stock. Never took the time to take it to the track...got the RS for that

Et Tú Brute? I was thinking of the same thing.

OP, Does this car have issue's with turning and turning radius?

T-C - I've read about the reduced turning radius resulting from the proprietary BS rack. I've not been in any tight turning situations to notice. Either way, a small price to pay for the responsiveness gained, IMO.

Can you tell more about ownership experience? Why not a daily?.. Suspension too stiff or?
