woolite diluted in warm water, brush gently with toothbrush, have clean warm-water moistened cotton cloth/old tee shirt to soak up soapy liquid and remove dirt, then let air dry or buff with dry microfiber cloth

will be like new unless alacantara already badly worn down or pilled...in which case u can only refinish to restore

Sonax alcantara cleaner. Easy to use and works quickly.

the seat bottom of my driver side seat is all pilled up. I'm assuming its from the ingress / egress pivot move. Not sure how to clean that up... anyone?

I'm not sure what the best way is to remove all these little 'pills' (short of painstakingly picking them off the surface).

I have heard some using savers (manual blade type) or you could try a pill remover for clothing?

P.S I would leave it until you come to sell then do it to smarten the interior up personally.

If you dampen the alcantara and use a facial razor, it seems to work pretty well but I agree with Ur20v, wait to clean up the seats prior to selling unless it bothers you too much

+1 on Sonax cleaner; +2 on the stick razor. I've found a nice sharp razor pulled over dry Alcantara gets rid of the piling and restores a nice smooth surface. I used the above combo on my badly dirty and piled wheel and it came back to life.

Thanks guys... I do have that Sonax Alcantara cleaner. And since no one would want my car I may as well keep it forever So, I'll give this a shot!

My wife has a small razor/trimmer for trimming the pilling off of a sweater. Works great.
