just managed to book a room at unscripted monterey, I think it's formally the best western. Nice flat covered parking. Still rooms available. The rate is highway robbery but it's better than stuck in traffic in a CGT, the clutch is much more expensive...

You guys realize roll in even for concours participants is 7-9am. So you don't need to be there right at 7am. I'm not saying roll in at 8:45, but an 8am roll in time gives you more than enough time to get situated. There's a high level of dust there that collects on the cars fast, so if you are set up ready to go by 8am, u will be dusting your car down by 930-10am

I would rather arrive early, drop the car off leave to go eat come back and do a wipe down after.
Also, do not under estimate the traffic on Carmel Valley Rd. come late and it's the same experience as Oracle arena

I signed up and paid.
Change of plans so, I can't attend.
I would be happy to give my place away to anyone who would like to go.
If you would like my spot, just pm me.
Thanks
Bryan

I got down there by about 9 last year, and traffic basically came to a stop on Highway 1 about where the freeway ends just north of Ocean Avenue. It was a real crawl from there down to Carmel Valley Road. I was thinking about coming over Laureles Grade near Laguna, and then west on Carmel Valley Road to the Werks Reunion. Anybody try that last year, and how did it work?
