Default Hoosier R7 Fitment

What are others finding when fitting R7's on your NB 997 GT3's?

I previously used R6's with 245/35-18 fronts and 315/30-18 rears; the R7 rears seem to be pretty close to the R6, but not the fronts. When I looked at the unmounted R7's the 245/35-18 appeared to be about 1/2" wider and also nearly an inch smaller diameter than the R6. While Not an exact match, it looks like the R7 245/40-18 may actually be the closest to matching the dimensions of the R6 245/35-18.

Very interested in what others have found with the tires mounted and used on track.

FJS - thanks, that is for R7's on an .2 RS, correct? A lot of tire for a narrow body GT3, especially on the front. I have heard that some could make them fit, but I don't think I have room.

Am running the R7 in the same sizes on my 2010 GT3 we had to install spacers up front due to rubbing on the spring/strut works just fine.

255 front on my 997.1 RS
I run 335 rears with no issue
Obviously not narrow body

But I think 245 fronts and 315 rears is the go to for Hoosiers on narrow body
But the 255 front will work with rotated struts and a track oriented alignment

Sorry, I meant wide body RS. See PJs post above.
