Hi,

My HVAC fan doesn't work any more:

I have removed the fan and found that it works when I connect it directly to the battery. I think the fan rotor is not rotating freely when I turn the rotor by hand (I have no unit to compare with so I do not know if it is OK or not.).

My guess is that the fan is using to much current because of it not rotating freely and that the resistor pack has gone bad.

My next step is to locate the resistor pack and try to find out if it working OK.


I'm looking for advice how to test the resistor pack and if the resistor can be reset somehow or other tips regarding this issue.
