Another "Feeler" Thread-997.1
Thinking about selling my 2007 White Gt3 and moving to cup car.
Here's the good:
Cpo until October.
0 over revs in any range
Carbon Full Door Sills
Carbon center console
Nav w/Sound package plus
Sport Chrono
Coolant lines welded and sharkwerks elbows
All maintenance records
Motorsport LSD
Re-geared 3,4,5,6 by Brian Copans
21k Miles
New TPMS sensors
New front rotors.
Front bumper refinished with very few stone chips
The not so good:
High quality paint work on drivers quarter panel and front fender (maybe door). Would need paint meter to verify.
Windshield shows pitting.
Scuffs on drivers plastic door sill.
Ding in airbag cover on passenger side sport seat.
Car currently has gt2 sport buckets, rss930 bar, champion toe links, caster pucks, and front lca monoballs, all of which would be removed and returned to stock before sale.
Thoughts as to value? I'm thinking $78k without above track mods.

people with cars similar to this seem to be able to get quick sales for 80K, i don't see why you wouldn't be able to get that too as long as the front paint damage is exampled and explained well enough.

i would agree - 80k easy if paint issue can be explained. new windshield is only 700 ...however if car has been tracked often i would bet front end and hips needs cosmetic work to remove track rash -- a repaint of those areas would be $4-5K (ask me how i know )

I have replaced 1/2 dozen of these windshields over the last 10 years. They are NOT $700 unless you are talking just the glass only? THey still need to be installed

Correct. I talked to my local dealer that I have worked with for a decade and trust. They ONLY rec one company locally to do all their windshield replacements. I have used that company many times over and their work is top notch. They have done countless "redo" work for Satellite screwups.

I don't think all these companies are the same owner, it could be a franchise, so the ones in northern California could be better than say ones in north carolina.
just be nice to the installer and tip them if they do a good job, my guy spent a solid 2-3 hours on the car and was careful

Three Wheelin'
Sounds like a very reasonable price for this month...

80-85k without all the track goodies sounds about right. Some higher miles 07's have sold for 80+ and they weren't white which is of course the fastest color The LSD and coolant line upgrades are easily worth 5K-7K parts and labor.

Thanks... appreciate the input. I think I'm going to price it at $80k and post a classified ad in the next couple weeks. It really is a great car, the gearing is pretty sweet.

Thats right at my amount, and i'm looking for white or silver. I'd love the stock seats as i'm looking for a 80/10/10 car (997.1 gt3) (touring/track/autocross)....and with the roll bar...and maybe a couple of otherss

my glass was 700 installed using pilkington glass no issues no waviness or distortions, install is perfect on 7 gt3 last month
i know my glass guy well he does alot of work for me...several porsches bimmers acura nsx
yes you need to know you have a reliable and competent glass guy/shop otherwise there may be rude surprise... but this true for anything else too
and you go to dealer yes you will pay more no doubt about it
example -- front windshield exterior cowl piece across base of windshield... local dealer wanted $340 plus 10% tax. Suncoast or oemporscheparts $215-225. draw your own conclusions...
