Default Question about PPI/CPO

If you are buying a car from a Porsche Dealer or in my case a sister dealership that is owned by the Porsche dealership and the Porsche dealer does a PPI/CPO on the car do you still recommend having a independent shop do a PPI or can you trust that if the car was CPO'd you have an honest view of what the car is? Basically I (the customer) is paying for the CPO process. I would like to think Porsche would not treat it any differently because they are selling the car. Thoughts?

Always get an independent ppi. cpo is a warranty with a checklist of things they inspect. Best to get the car assessed by an independent 3rd party. State where you are located and you'll get recommendations of shops.

I already purchased the vehicle and think I am alright but I could always use a list of good shape. I figured I would use Dougherty Automotive in West Chester Pa.

I am in the West Chester area.
