Default Pricing help and guidance

I know this is going to start the great debate...not trying to. I just need guidance for, experienced GT3 owners

I am looking at buying a 2007 White GT3
~21k miles
One owner
Guards red gauges
Red stitching seats, dash, door panels, seat belts
No PCM or navi
Sport chrono
Crest in headrest
Pccb's
Blah, blah blah
Cars has aftermarket champion wheels (I will sell)
And comes with stock wheels ( which I will put back on)

PPI at brumos tomorrow
If checks out we have a price negotiated, just want a gut check

This isn't an investment, but I don't want to be underwater in 9 month either.i am nervous about how these prices have risen..just don't want to be on top of the bubble...

Price of car with clean PPI and both wheels $86k

Too much? On par?

I am thinking I can sell the wheels for 2500-3000 to possibly lower the the overall cost of ownership..

Please provide thoughts

Thank you for your honest feedback

Price is on point for what you are getting as long as no paintwork or accidents.

I think so too...hopefully the PPI will be able to uncover paint work..
Carfax(means nothing) shows clean....original window sticker

Side note anyone know the model of these wheels?

Maybe champion RG-5
Find out wheel specs/ offsets for selling.
If clean ppi can they throw in CPO for this car?
Negotiable point?
Good luck.

If it's a daily driver variety and never seen the track and that's what you plan to use it for I'd say go for it.

If you plan to track it I'd say no. You'll want a tracked prepped variety even if it has 10k track miles. These cars need an easy 20k investment for basic track use plus it's a PIA to get all the work done.

Agree I have same car with 20k of crap done to it to make it reliable on track and wouldn't dream of selling it for that low

Very good price considering original owner and extra set of wheels assuming clean PPI.

Pay whatever you need to, including the asking price and don't look back.

IMO, that's a great price, especially considering the extra wheels assuming the PPI is favorable.

Those Champion wheels are forged and should be an easy sell. My car was sold new at Champion in Pompano with RG5B's, which were a (very pricey) dealer installed option. I understand preferring the OEM look, though.

Wheels are champion rs98. Very light and strong forged wheel. No way would I remove those from the car and put the factory boat anchors back on. The champion wheels are 18-19 lbs for the fronts and 20-21lbs for the rear. These are one of the higher end wheels and retail new for around 6k.

You can read more about them here:
http://www.championmotorsport.com/pr...p/cms-rs98.htm

I put a set of these on my dads 997.2 c2s.

If you are going to sell one of the sets of wheels, sell the stock wheels.

All of the nice 997.1 GT3's I have looked at that were clean nice cars were north of 100k. I would say it is an awesome price providing the car checks out and has no accidents etc.

I was leary of the high prices when I bought mine and have to say it is worth every penny. I do not forsee these cars going down in price anytime soon.
