I believe there is a box you can get that will use the cd changer input for this.

On my 89 antique with original blaupunkt stereo I just got this from Frys (same price as amazon). I have it stuffed in the glove box, hidden, with a 12v power cord. It works surprisingly well, as past past experiences with FM modulators was not good:

I grew up destined to be a Road Warrior. Used to drive my TR4 from Lincoln, NE to and from DC, straight thru each time, about 24 hours, summer, winters, (no heater), at 3K RPM/60 mph, on the back roads, did it about 8 times in the 11 months I owned the car. Did the same, always straight thru, in my next car, and MGB. Drove our Superformance Cobra on lots of thousand mile trips, the most epic one was running to and from SC to run at Heartland Park, with my son, top down straight thru, 1100 miles each way. So trips in our GT3, even with the full Sharkwerks exhaust, is a relaxed easy drive for an old guy like me. I just wear ear plugs. Don't know if the radio works, never turned it on.

LIve your life like you are on the last open road.

All the best....

I would say he is. Because it is a cushy ride. I have one and I can attest to being a nice ride.

all gT3 are cushy. i fell asleep in cup car on track as passenger. it was cushy too. i do not underswtand why some ppl wear ear plugs in cup cars. i can barely hear it.

just drive. and dont worry. gas, clutch shift.
there is no comfmort to discuss.
when i get out, i can't really striaghten my back. so i try not to get out, just drive.

Wife and I are out in the texas hill country/boerne. Forgot how well it drives on the road - rides better than the X5. Had some fun getting into the parking lot at the B&B...Noisy, but we're sharing an iphone and some IEMs. After moving the center buckle out of the way, wife is comfortable. Having a wonderful time....

You guys with the 'cushy' 997 GT3's...

Our 996GT3 is a daily driver. Drive in traffic, drive to dinner, commute to work and drive long trips. Bought it 4 years ago with 16k miles, now has 80k. Wife would much rather drive that every day than the GTI...so guess what I get stuck with....go figure!

Usually I'd say, take it anywhere you'd want, but having taken my RS on a roadtrip through France and Italy last year, I must admit it became a bit tiring after a while.

Mine has no aircon and is set-up for trackwork which meant each and every speedbump caught the front lip and traffic jams in summer heat were unpleasant. That said, taking it on Route Napoleon, etc.. was unforgetable.
