Would you pay 190k for a 2011 GT3RS?

Wow and I mean WOW!!!
All this display of weaponry by m5trol and Saru385. I am impressed.
Just a question ... have any of you ever k!lled a man??
A weapon has only ONE purpose and that is to kill.
I do not like weaponry display for sport.
Sorry I understand it goes against the collectors and sportsman.
Sadly in service to my country between 1969 and 1971, my life was far from good. God will NEVER FORGIVE my transgressions.
I say again ... have any of you gentlemen ever k!lled a man?
I mean 5.56 mm poisoning and please add close quarters hand to hand knife combat and wire close quarter encounters? .
Okay I apologize for my rise but when you've been in hell, there's no going back.
The demonstration of weapons doesn"t turn me on.
You use it to kill or put it away!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay I'm done, I'm just a JAFO.

These weapons remind me of where I am, why and what is most precious in life and I hope that you will see I meant no disrespect or harm.

Depends on what you intend to do with it.
You can't possibly go wrong with a benelli m4 12 guage shotgun for home defense. For a carry pistol, I cannot recommend HK P30L or HK45 enough.
There are other purposes and for those you obviously need different strokes.

Ranger -- thank you for your service. my dad is a vietnam vet, as well. i've never been in a situation where killing someone was a potential action and frankly don't hope to be in that situation.
that said, be it hunting, 3gun, target shooting, etc i think there are many ways to enjoy becoming proficient at shooting that don't involve killing people, just as there are ways to enjoy cars like the GT3 without being a race car driver. for me, i enjoy target shooting and the engineering that goes into making a nice weapon.

There is a gorgeous white 2011 GT3RS for sale here in Houston with 7k miles. Asking price is about 190k. I don’t think it has any modifications. I Assume a serious buyer could trim off a few dollars, but is it worth it? If I was going to track it, would I be better off looking for one with 20-30k miles and hopefully shave off 10-20K?

Gentlemen. Sorry for being a knucklehead mentioning price & specifics. In hindsight I should written a general question on the topic of low mileage vs high mileage. Thanks for the good ordering advice offered by some of you.

Never with a rifle, but plenty with air strikes and 105 howitizer. Had a few close calls my self. Lost some friends. But i sit here all soaked with sweat & grimy hands, after cleaning my Garand and several pistols after a two-gun shoot this morning. As for remorse and guilt over my war time service, I have none. The only nitemares I have, about once a month, is that I about to be overrun, and my weapon won't shoot, or I lack ammunition, or something else makes me helpless.
But for those who struggle with the sometimes debilitating effects of their military service, there is now a far greater social awareness and understanding of this, and support and aid is available.
I was forced to resolve how I was to forever feel about being in a war and death, when shortly after my arrival way deep in the Mekong Delta, I had to watch a beautiful little Vietnamese girl die because she did not get down when she should have, and caught a round in her left chest. My anguished night trying to save that little girl taught me how I would ever since confront death, then as an Infantry Captain, and for the last 35 years, as a pediatrician.
I have some of the same thoughts with my own high grade prostate cancer, now on a sort of chemo therapy, and soon to have surgery.
While this is a Porsche forum, I greatly enjoy seeing pic's of folks' guns, watches, and dogs.
All the best...
