When I picked up my car at Champion Motorsport in 2011.
Sebring testing 2012 with my old friend Emmanuel Crouvisier- FF, FPA, FFSA, Porsche Supercup driver.
Road America not long after initial tune, 2011.
Car has NEVER let me down. No bull**** tuners promising the world and delivering garbage here unlike some across the pond.
Case in point- in 2013 drove the car 1200 miles towing the trailer with two bikes on top from Chicago to Central Florida over 2 days, averaging 73mph and 19mpg.
Champion got rid of the Sachs 1000nm pressure plate and four puck disc, because it wouldn't hold the power we were generating. This car was one of the first few ERP triple carbon clutch installs.
You can also see the difference between the standard Carrillo rods that most people sell as 997 rods (but are actually 996 rods) and the redesigned 997 rod that is a Champion Motorsport exclusive. What that ultimately means is, when most companies do engine builds, they swap out 997 specific rod bearings for 996 ones because 997 bearings do not fit in 996 rods. Food for thought. See link for more detail- http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/9...ting-rods.html
Things not mentioned- beryllium valve seats, oversized valves, redesigned carbon intake pipes, Ohlins GT3 shocks that were originally meant for their Turbo RSR until they went full retard and installed the RSR suspension on there. And probably a bunch of other stuff I've forgotten over the years.

Don't know why Nick is so insecure about his "tuned" GT2, it looks a lovely car and I'm sure he has lots of fun "developing the tune" during his DE days.
"Across the pond" professional engine builders test everything in racing before it ever gets in road cars, my 3.9 engine is 24hr endurance race (with 6.58 'Ring record) certified.
