Default Future GT cars (other than gt4) may have manual transmission

Fantastic news and looks like they have learned from the market response:

All I want to know is how soon can we go full blown electric and self driving automatic GT cars... I'm kind of tired of this whole Mezger/9A1 PDK/Manual loud obnoxious NA engines thingy...
I mean, what's not to like : comfy cooled seats, pollen filter/allergy free AC,air suspension, cabin noise cancelation,Burmeister opera...press a button on the Nav/wake up at the Ring. Press another 7:15 constant laps while eating a box of jelly donuts and enjoying your favorite Frappe.

I would much rather get the transport button to energize from one place to another. The 30 thousand dollar option on the transporter is the what you remember as to how you got to your destination with plug and play architecture such that you could imagine rolling in on a tank or a GT1 depending on what tickled your fancy.

I'm open minded but I believe it when it's here
lighter weight!
what does that mean
100 less? then I rather get 50 hp more and more dosplacemenr and more tq.
now if less weight is 500 lbs less. then yes, that's good.

marketing and rhetoric are always just that. bit I will keep, hopes up.

I'm used to,spending 2-3000$ to save .1 gram on my bike such that I can eat more donuts and jelly beans....

Think aero, weight is arbitrary on bikes (road cycling I presume).

Cycling: wheels, frame, helmet, fit, clothing.

Aero forces above 14mph are the biggest force you pedal against at that point.

Don't waste money on shaving grams, spend on savings energy and finding speed.

It would be a dream come true for us manual guys. Can you imagine a '18 GT3 RS with manual when Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, and Bugatti don't offer one? If production is limited to 2000 units like the 991.1 RS is, I bet roughly 500 or so will be ordered in manual, and the rest in DCT. Can you imagine the markups for the ONLY modern 'supercar' with a manual? Instant classic. Keeper. I have a deposit on a 991.2 RS and I'm hoping they can make us little guys happy.

Yeah I saw what you did in American Pie - you looked a bit different back in 98.
