I think leaking RMS is a lottery for either a .1 or .2, both can suffer or not. My .1 has never been changed or leaked- its bone dry. It sees times stood idle and times of DD.
Aftermarket front (and rear) lift can be added- my KW V3 HLS system (including shocks) cost ~$7 and lifts all four corners. Its been faultless for 2 years. Its used every time the car goes out as I couldn't manage the underground parklng at the appartment or the step incline on the drive at home.

There are 11 GT3RS for sale in the German dealer network, prices range from 189 to 295000 Euros. (Euro > Dollar). Interestingly (see link), there is no clear lead from 997(2), 996 or 997(1) are in the middle...
