Default Insurance options

Hello,

Now that I have a separate daily driver with State Farm, I'm preparing to get a quote on agreed value insurance-
I'll start with Leland West, then some of the others that came up from searching forums so I can compare.

I'll probably do $140K agreed value (2011 GT3 13k miles) Is that a fair current valuation? (Full leather/Lift options)
What are the better options to choose to be well covered?(Comp/Collision/Deductible)
I'm opting for 3000 miles annually, no occasional commute(and will compare these options to see)

I believe I read that Hagerty doesn't allow you to even go to the supermarket or leave it out of sight-

Any experiences shared are much appreciated

Thanks

Why? Just reduce the Porsche to coverage for minimal miles, no work and no school. Should cost much less than current and less silly other restrictions.

But State Farm doesn't go below 7500 miles a year-and I thought it'd be good to get agreed value, but they don't do that either.
So I guess quotes would reveal savings, advantages and disadvantages-

Thanks

State Farm does do agreed value…my 993 C4S is on a policy. They may not do newer cars...

So what's a good option for Comp/Collision/Deductible?
I've always kept $500 deductible, might consider $1000
Restrictions/fine print-I'm gonna try three different quotes to compare. PCA membership will hopefully bring a discount from LW

Thanks

That's the right plan. Comparison shop. State Farm is a great product. Also try:

1) Good student discount
2) Talk to Bruce Jenner's doctors
3) Turn 40 (I forget what age males drop after say 25, then it goes back up [around 70-80??])
4) Driving class discounts
5) One of those monitoring devices (no thank you!)

I've used Grundy for 13 years on my 550 Spyder. Recently had to add my GT2 to the policy as well since I have a new 16 year old male driver in the house (insurance double on all 5 cars). Grundy seems good about no mileage limits (which is why I like them). GT2 went down considerably for even better coverage (should have done it a long time ago). I set my agreed value at about $25k below the current value of the car. My philosophy: I don't like paying full premium for an unlikely event (I just want to mitigate exposure in the unlikely event something does happen). If my GT2 or Spyder are totaled, and I'm in it when it happens, I've probably got bigger problems to worry about....or my wife can deal with it after the life insurance check arrives :-) Anything up to that amount is covered for any fender benders. So, its a personal choice. Hope that helps.

From the Grundy website:
>>In order to qualify for our MVP program, you must have a minimum of 3 vehicles in 2 classes. I.E. two collector cars and 1 daily driver.

I don't plan on getting another collector car right now so Grundy and Chubb are not an option-

Interesting. For 12 years, I only had my Spyder on their plan until recently. I do not know what an "MVP" program is but I would be surprised if you can't get a policy on your single car. Might be worth a call.

I just went through Grundy's website for a quick quote-a phone call is probably a better idea-the form didn't provide enough details on miles for the year, etc
$140k agreed value

I'm gonna get a new quote, bring down the agreed value to around $125k and see how much difference it makes.
As it is the premium isn't much lower than my State Farm policy, which of course doesn't offer agreed value but I get up to 7500 miles a year. They don't offer 3000 miles a year with extra discount.
Leland West seems more expensive even with 5% PCA discount. I'll try a new quote as well.
