Castrol Optimol TA rant
Pretty pissed off about this-
Went to the major Porsche dealer down the street, fool at the counter had no idea what I was asking for. So I tell him again, Castrol Optimol TA Center Lock paste, grease, anti seize, whatever your computer says it is. Nothing. I google a part number. Shows up under brakes
So I ask, do you have it in stock??? He couldn't tell me :bang head:
Then he said it probably couldn't be sold to me!
Then I went to 2 Porsche parts vendors in the area. More confusion, no one sells it...I ask him how does he service cars without it then??? Jesus Fu#^*g Christ
I've researched this before, and the same Optimol is used in BMW motorcycles-call the local dealer which has it on their website, "no, we don't carry that"
Patience out the window, I ordered from Suncoast though I see other sites have it for less.
So how does Porsche not have this available at their dealerships???
And I do have all the pdf files bulletins on what to do, the car is in the air when removing and tightening everything(unlike most shops that remove them with the car in the ground)
World of idiots
End of rant
