For street use only- is there a reason to choose MPSC2 over MPSS?

I'm about to replace my old sport cups.

None, if you strictly using the car for street then get the Super Sports.

I switched from MPSS to MPSC2 with great results, still quite reasonable performance in the wet (specially braking and under acceleration) and much improved track dry performance. As commented previously in this thread, they need to operate on or below 35 psi, otherwise get too "greasy" (I need to keep lowering initial pressures to keep them there).

Reasonably good performance in colder tems (high 30's).

I'd recommend those as a great dual purpose tire (MPSS not as good under heavy cornering)

I just went from my old cups to MPSC2. Love it... so far. Grips better and ride also seems better. Also the cup 2 seems to work right off the bat where as the cups always seemed greasy for first 10+ mins.

Did not drive the MPSC long enough. Better tire in the cold, better in the wet, much more durable and stable

Better for the track, shoulders are stronger more durable. Lasting longer than MPSS so far (killed shoulder, but got more neg camber too). Mpsc2 Don't build up temperature as quickly as MPSS.

Cup 2's are significantly better than the Cups in all areas. Still on my first set with 4 track days and 4k miles and tread to spare. Cups would be gone by now.

They're good in the cold, good in the rain too. Oh and they grip like crazy.
