Let me guess... he's away for business and there's a lot of people interested in the car, if serious wire transfer him a deposit... or some variation of that.

The GT3is still for sale but I have already handed it into consignment
to a dealership in Corpus Christi , TX. The Porsche is technically still
mine, the dealership only has power of attorney over it so either I find
a buyer or they do but in both cases they will handle the sale. No
dealership tax/fees will be applied for this sale. If you want you may
contact the dealership. Although they may have advertised it at a
different price, if you tell them you were referred by the original
seller the price will be the same as advertised by me and they will
honor it.
Thanks

(name removed),
Well, before going any further, I have 2 questions if you don't
mind. One, are you a used car dealer by any chance? And second, are we
talking about a cash transaction ?Do you have the funds or you need a loan?
Thanks

i usually schedule a meeting between seller and my money guy at the local in-n-out parking lot for the cash deposit.
despite being a scam...it does make me feel nostalgic for 2013 .1 RS prices

This has certainly evolved into something else. Was hoping maybe someone could get a good deal, but I guess it's true, like others have said in this thread, if it looks to good to be true...
Although this scam artist does seem to have to great lengths for this scam. Website, real street with a few other dealers. Also, when I first saw this listing the car was for sale in Newport, CA. Now it's in Texas? Low lifes like this really can go f themselves

if you're you're in the OC bubble known as Newport Beach, then that's where you list your car. There's no such thing as simply "Newport, CA" or "the Newport coast". That was a giveaway that it's a scam by a non-local.

This same scam happens in real estate rentals. Perp steals pics then lists a too good to be true rental rate, usually on Craig's list. The way it plays out is listing person can't show the property but asks interested party to send deposit $ which of course is never to be seen again, and no house to rent.
