Totally agree! Same goes for mishaps on track. If you want to post video of your offs. Please do but not cool to post pictures/videos of others. Hope this guy is ok and back in a gt car soon.

How delusional and short-sited do you have to be to put nails and oil down on a public road?? Like they'll only be selective on who they damage. I mean, you're potentially murdering someone!

It's a crazy evil world in some cases. Idiot in Austin throwing stones off overpass and kills an unlikely driver below. Rock went threw windshield and struck his head. Never know these days.

I did not read where the OP was making fun or ridiculing the driver of the wrecked car, or mocking his driving skill, or gloating over his mishap. Just asking if anyone knew who it was, was it a RL member. All of us here wince when a fellow enthusiast hurts their car, and perhaps themselves. And I am absolutely sure each of us with sincerity hopes the driver/passenger quickly recovers both his health and his wheels.

As for accidents, i mentioned a few days ago, on a thread about driving semi-rare cars on city streets where I had to drive around three wrecks within a few hundred yards. Today I was at the same place, and again two wrecked cars, one on its roof, with police and ambulance there.

As someone who lost a good friend in an auto accident, and having rolled my Dad's Anglia in my high school parking lot, I have great sympathy for whomever has had the misfortune of being involved in a motor vehicle accident.

All the best..

Guys, I know the driver. I'll get back to you guys with details - meant as a learning experience. Let it be known, this was a low speed crash - speeds were below limits. All I can say for now. Thanks for the well wishes to those who have done so.

Low speed crash, was there any oil on the ground? Or did maybe one of his coolant hoses go?

Regardless of the cause, I hope he's healthy and well, and hopefully the damage isn't TOO severe and repairable!

I had a guy in a Jeep toss a full water bottle at me on my motorcycle (BMW R12RT) from an overpass on I75 near Tifton GA. I saw him throw it and would have most likely been hit had I not been able to dodge it by about 1'. I was running 85+ and can only imagine what damage it would have done.

Fortunately for both of us there was no access to the overpass or someone would have gotten an *** woopin' that day...

I rode a motorcycle there regularly in the 80's. More than once i've come around a corner and seen a emergency helicopter hauling someone off the hill but, usually it was 2 people because someone went over the line and took out an oncoming rider. JUST DOES NOT MAKE SENSE!!!! I quit riding there.

Appreciate the support. There was a lot of talk at Newcomb's about the accident and since I drive both a motorcycle and a car up there on a weekly basis, I am curious as to what happened.

Apologies if I offended anyone but I'm not the one that made that video or posted it on You Tube.

When someone posts a 3rd person video of any car accident or matter or matter of fact any type of accident- why post? If u guys track and **** happens - u like people there taking pics/video of aftermath? It's the owner who decides to release info not u. Mike

^^You must hate RNickey Mouse. I think watching these videos helps me with staying in check on these roads and a warning to not get to crazy on my Sunday drives. I put up an apology if it offended anyone and it appears that it's not good enough for you. Sorry 996FLT, I really didn't mean to offend or upset you. If you wish, I will remove it. pm me if you want.

I live at the bottom of the Crest and run it on a weekly basis. I'm just trying to get some info on what exactly happened.

I realize that stuff happens and I'm sure nobody like's videos of their mishaps being posted, but it's the time we live in where everything is being recorded and it's only going to get worse. I realized that the posting of this accident might get heated and still decided to throw it up in hoping to gain some insight on what happened.

Lets not start an internet bully session. We're all family here.

Hopefully the driver is ok, and the car is easy to fix with no damage to the chassis.

Didn't know people were deliberately setting up traps for other drivers. That is a complete douche move, very unsafe. Those bastards should be severely punished

If this was on a track everyone would call this post out- double standards.

Rennlist should either pull or put up with track accidents being posted by 'third parties'..

I am on the fence, just don't like the double standard.
