Had to laugh - typical Australia, because everyone here drives ute or 4x4 so build off road course for a giggle to every house.

I had to put a lift kit on in weeks. I went KW's solution on all four corners, they do a 'just' front kit but because of the lump you may want all four corners lifting- does it bottom in the center of the car? if not just a front lift kit will be best as it gives you a higher lift / greater approach without the back raising also.

I can now run a cup spoiler with no issues- never touches anywhere1

Top quality kit, excellent performance and great customer support from KW German. Cannot speak highly enough of the kit... no pun intended

Car went from being a pain literally to the ears from the scraping and failed atempts to get into car parks and drive ways to a pleasure.

Thanks Heaps Jay.

It only rubs at the front, so I will therefore only require a front lift kit.

This is what I have for my 458 and it works perfectly.

at my home, my gutter is not that steep, and I have added concrete to to make it less so, and I only scrape a little. Now at my son's place, since it has been too cold to do the same, I got six foot sections of 2X6 boards and bolted those metal ramp ends from Lowes, the kind put on boards to run mowers and four wheels up into pick ups. Works fine, but of course we have to put them out and then bring them back to the garage.

Nice car, by the way.

All the best...

While you may certainly solve *your* driveway problem with planks, concrete, etc., you won't solve *every* driveway issue...and there are enough speed bumps, crappy slopes and other assorted maladies hat I think you might reconsider.

I scrape about 4 times a day (I DD my GT3) and I cannot wait until I get the car back with the front axle lift installed because I won't have to worry about buying $300 chin spoilers every 6 months; convenience and not having to angle out at 88 degrees to get in/out of a driveway FTW.

My additional $0.01 over the $0.02 I already gave you

Saw a display for this at Amelia Island. iLIFT® - Intelligent Suspension Lift Systems
It looked appealing to me.
No info on pricing though....

Wow, does that bring back memories.
I remember trying to use lumber to make it into my driveway and cursing the original owner of my .2 GT3 for optioning $5K in "deviated stitching" but not spending on the lift kit.
I eventually learned that if you pull up perpendicular to the absolute edge of the driveway (as if you were parking in the street) and approach your driveway as if you intend to drive down the sidewalk, you can get the front over the hump. Just turn the wheel towards the house slightly and drive up and over the edge of the walkway (and maybe some of that grass by the curb). Then back up with the wheel turned towards the street allowing your front to stay on the walkway and car facing driveway. Then you are home free.
Getting out is the same in reverse.
It looks ridiculous, takes practice, but it works.

Truth be told, I did buy another house.
The driveway issue was not the primary reason for moving, but was a definite consideration is selecting our new home.
Sometimes the tail does wag the dog.

Every house we looked at when buying was a drive by if the drive was bad which in Oz ruled out 80% lol! This house was as near perfect (for the car). but I still need to turn as described above or us the lift kit.

Cool house and cool cars. FWIW I got a lift kit from Cargraphic about two years ago and love it. It goes down automatically when you hit 30 or so.

I have OEM front axle lift.

I try not to exceed 20mph with it up, and always wait for it to lower fully before exceeding 20mph.

In my mind, this should improve longevity as it is not unduly strained.

With lift up, there is in effect no suspension or damping, so ride is very compromised.

Glad to see I'm not the only one using lumber to get in and out of the garage - the neighbours get a chuckle out of it at least lol
