Just wanted to say hi and looking forward to be part of the group. Was a lurker for a while as I read up and learned about GT3's while looking for a car to buy (ended up buying a friend's car). I don't have any great photos right now but here it is.
After burning myself out on the whole modifying cars thing with my old cars, my only planned mods are to get the coolant lines pinned, install the Sharkwerks stainless steel coolant elbow things, put in the Cargraphics front radiator protector screen, and install the TPC Racing DSC unit/3-axis accelerometer and HRE's that I've got lying around here (Tom at TPC was great to deal with by the way). Pretty excited since if I had to pick a car as close to stock as possible that I can enjoy without it giving me too much of a rollercoaster ownership ride, I think the GT3's gonna be it.
Anyways, looking forward to the journey, hopefully it's a relatively fun one.

It's my car's evil twin! Welcome and enjoy the ride.
Stormtrooper, Darth Vader, we can still be on the same side.

Good luck with controlling the mod addiction.

Yeah, I think I covered the big ones but if I missed one let me know since the engine's gonna be out anyways.
I think after going a little too crazy (for me) with my old BMW and a poorly tuned (by an extremely reputable tuner in SoCal, constant 7-9 counts of knock) daily driver Evolution X I have enough motivation to stay away from modding too much for a while. Of course, I've been wrong before. Feel free to help me keep focused on not modding.

Hahahahahaha. Yeah, good luck with that.
I came into GT3 (7.1) ownership with the same mindset. This is exactly what I said.
You also need the Sharkwerks center muffler delete. Oh, and the Carnewal remote. And the EVOMSit ECU flash...
I just dropped off mine to Sharkwerks which I bought in September with all the aforementioned goodies and am having the boys add the full RSS bone/toe/LCA kit, RSS cage, GT2 seats, the TechArt nose lift oh, and a little something called their 3.9L upgrade.
I'm not sure what the 3.9L upgrade actually is but it comes with a sticker so it must be good.
Congratulations. I too just bought an '07 Black/Black GT3. Getting coolant pipes welded, which I knew about. Also slip differential replaced - which I didn't but for which there's much info available here. And harnesses and wheel studs installed, etc. etc. Been at the shop so long I forget what it looks like.
