Thanks again for all the well wishes. You are certainly right, every chance I get in and turn that key, **** eating grin ear to ear!

You divide the RPM limit of 8400 by 60 seconds and you get 140 revolutions per second of the engine at redline. This multiplied by 3 gives you the ignitions per second of the engine at redline (140*3=420 ignitions per second on the rev limiter). You see now why 2 is practically impossible? It would mean 0.005 seconds (1/420*2).

The glitch happens occasionally and is with the software used to connect to your car - PIWIS, Durametric, etc. It only relates to overrev readings. Nothing wrong with your car. I'm highly skeptical when I see overrevs in the single digit range.

You are correct. Old owner was 'upgrading' to a new GT3, Sapphire Blue.

He texted me later saying he regretted selling me the GT3, guess he already misses rowing those gears. Im sure the PDK will grow on him once he hits the track!
