I just found the sports button makes no difference, IT SOUNDS the sports mode is activated permanently, always loud. But I am sure it made the difference before, some part malfunctioning I guess.

Anyone experienced it before? Do I have to replace the flap actuator?

Look to see if the valves are unpluged. It is a single plug on the right side of the motor from the top, takes seconds to plug back in. This is very common.

It happened all of sudden, pretty cold weather, the sound much louder than before. After that day, the sport button makes 0 difference, always loud except once or twice the loud disappear for a short distance drive. Is it possible due to the shock when passing bumper or something? No clue at all, right now I just always loud.
