997.2 GT3 Brake Squeak
Noob question here....
I recently bought a CPO 7.2GT3 that got a fresh set of Porsche steel brakes front and back including liners, rotors and related hardware as part of the CPO Certification. If it matters, the brake lining part number is 997-352-947-95.
Anyhow, these brakes squeak really bad, I've done multiple 80mph to 40mph hard braking to try to get them to bed in but still no love.
Are squeaky brakes part of the nature of the car with stock rotors and liners?
Thanks!

Hahaha. I bought mine 3 months ago and put on fresh rotors/stock pads. It howled and squealed for 1500 miles despite bed in.
...and I MEAN LOUD...worse than a City bus.
It will drive you mad and then go away...with the odd return with dust build up.
It's a "feature"
Folks have suggested other pads, etc...I suggest living with it until it stops being a problem...

Try a few repeated 80-0 stops and see if that helps. Inevitably it comes back again though. Part of the "character" of the car.
