the car is worth saving.
Toss audio junk and sell the 20" wheels and 996 seats.

A little bit of work but not a bad way to get into a RS for under 100k.

Given how infrequently these come up for sale and how high prices are, I think that isn't a bad grab for the person who is willing to due their due diligence and put in a little work. I would think you would be able to sell all the gimmicky **** and buy stock replacement parts with that money. I'm about 7 miles from the 20k mark on mine....good to see I haven't lost any money in the last year while driving it whenever I like.

Its near Sammamish, WA. Maybe an hour east of Seattle. I heard back from the seller. Already bidded up to $103k and expects it will be sold tomorrow.

Damn missed a good one...

Bought my pumpkin with 35k on in 2012, now has 48k on the chassis and about 600 miles on the new engine...

I told him I'd take it at his asking price. which, IMHO, is overpaying. I bought a 7k mile that was squeaky clean for about that earlier this year. Who knows, maybe the potential buyer will need/struggle to get financing.

Goes to show though... some people price cars to sit, some price them to sell.

Buy it, send it to Gordon at Autometrics and tell him to give it the Leh Keen treatment. Done.

Sick build. Can't imagine how much that would cost though...

Not as much as you'd think. I have a quote. Just waiting for a donor. Hardest part besides finding a frogger would be tracking down a set of those seats.

It's been awhile since I spoke to them. Suggest you contact Gordon or Cory directly. They are more than happy to chat live or respond to email. Straight shooters and super nice guys.
